SYNOPSIS

     Establishes Dept. of Agriculture cooking contest.

An Act establishing a Department of Agriculture cooking contest and supplementing Title 4 of the Revised Statutes.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

      1.   a.  The Department of Agriculture, in coordination with any agricultural or farming organization as determined appropriate by the department, shall establish a cooking contest for using the most “Jersey Fresh” agricultural products or commodities.

      b.   The department shall 1develop and1 adopt 1[, pursuant to the “Administrative Procedure Act,” P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), rules and regulations] guidelines1 for the conduct of the contest, and the awarding of premiums, prizes, or rewards for the successful contestants.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.
