SYNOPSIS
Provides that farm, farmstand, or other agricultural operation selling firewood obtained from property other than seller’s shall not be considered a lumber yard.

An Act concerning the sale of firewood, and supplementing P.L.1983, c.31 (C.4:1C-1 et seq.).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Any farmstand or location on a farm, or location used by a farm or other agricultural operation, to sell firewood obtained from property other than the seller’s land shall not be considered a lumber yard under municipal land use regulations or for other regulatory purposes.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
The bill would provide that any farmstand or location on a farm, or location used by a farm or other agricultural operation, to sell firewood obtained from property other than the seller’s land shall not be considered a lumber yard under municipal land use regulations or for other regulatory purposes.
