Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Section 3 of P.L.2018, c.85 is amended to read as follows:

c. The Department of Environmental Protection is authorized to adjust the allowable Department of Environmental Protection loan amount for projects authorized in this section to between 25 percent and 75 percent of the total allowable loan amount and loan amounts to less than 25 percent to the extent the priority ranking and an insufficiency of funding prevents the department from making the loan.

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill corrects an error in the project list contained in P.L.2018, c.85, which appropriates certain federal and State moneys to the Department of Environmental Protection for the purpose of implementing the State Fiscal Year 2019 New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program (NJEIFP). The NJEIFP is expected to finance approximately $810.6 million in Storm Sandy and other environmental infrastructure projects for State Fiscal Year 2019.
However, a printing error caused several of the loan amounts for infrastructure projects around the State to be incorrect in the existing law. This bill would correct that error, restore the loan amounts to those originally intended, and provide that the project list in P.L.2018, c.85 corresponds with the project list in P.L.2018, c.84, which appropriates funds to the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank for environmental infrastructure projects.
