An Act concerning engineering education.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The Department of Education shall undertake a review of the Core Curriculum Content Standards to ensure that they incorporate standards regarding engineering where appropriate. The department shall report any findings and recommendations to the Governor within six months of the effective date of this act.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill directs the Department of Education to undertake a review of the Core Curriculum Content Standards to ensure that they incorporate standards regarding engineering where appropriate. The department must report any findings and recommendations to the Governor within six months of the bill’s enactment.
