SYNOPSIS
Permits union officials who represent probation officers to participate in all union activities.

An Act concerning union activity of probation officers and supplementing P.L.1994, c.162 (C.2B:11-1 et seq.).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, it shall not be improper for members of collective negotiations units who 1[represent probation officers, supervisors, and other related titles in] are elected or appointed officers of the majority representative organization representing employees of1 the Judiciary to participate in union activity, including1[: lobbying,]1 the commitment of organization funds 1[,]1 and partisan political activity.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
