An Act concerning certain contact information for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and supplementing Title 39 of the Revised Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall ensure the conspicuous display, at all official inspection facilities designated by the commission, of a toll-free customer service telephone number. A person may call the toll-free customer service telephone number to report any technical problems the person experiences at an official inspection facility.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to ensure the conspicuous display of a toll-free customer service telephone number at all official inspection facilities designated by the MVC.
A person may call the toll-free customer service telephone number to report any technical problems.
