The Assembly Education Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 4212.
This bill provides that American Sign Language would be recognized as a world language for the purpose of meeting any State or local world language requirement for high school graduation.
As reported by the committee, this bill is identical to Senate Bill No. 1760 (1R), which was also reported by the committee on this same date.
