SENATE, No. 2317

with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JUNE 25, 2018

     These floor amendments increase the membership of the board of directors of the consortium from 13 members to 15 members by adding one appointment by the Senate Minority Leader and one appointment by the Assembly Minority Leader.  The amendments also require that: the Governor’s two appointments not be of the same political party; no more than three of the five members appointed by the presidents of member institutions of higher education be of the same political party; and no more than two of the four members appointed by the other board members be of the same political party.
