SENATE, No. 3292

      The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 3292

      Senate Bill No. 3292 extends the date by which the Governor’s Fiscal Year 2020 budget message is to be transmitted to the Legislature, from the fourth Tuesday in February to Tuesday, March 5, 2019.  Current law provides that the budget message is to be transmitted on or before the fourth Tuesday in February.  Similar extensions have been provided in the past for the budgets of other Governors.

      This bill has not been certified as requiring a fiscal note.
