with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These floor amendments add healthcare to the focus of nonprofit organizations in the central region of the State that become partners in the Innovation Partnership. The floor amendments also provide that the geographical boundaries of the four regions of the State may overlap and are to be drawn to allow for broad inclusion of existing partner sites, research institutions, and innovation ecosystems. The floor amendments provide that a nonprofit organization need not be headquartered in a municipality that qualifies for certain State aid but that it is to have at least one location in that municipality.
