with Assembly Floor Amendments

      The floor amendment expands the provisions of the bill to apply to PACE programs.  As originally provided, the bill applied to long-term care facilities, home health agencies, hospice care providers, health care service firms, and certain community-based providers.

      The amendment also defines “PACE programs” to mean the “Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly,” operated by a public, private, nonprofit, or proprietary entity, as permitted by federal law.
