ASSEMBLY, No. 4942

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Assembly Appropriations Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 4942.

     This bill appropriates a total of $87,444,690 from the “New Jersey Library Construction Fund.”  Under the bill, $86,484,040 is appropriated to the State Librarian for the purpose of providing project grants for the construction, reconstruction, development, extension, improvement, and furnishing of New Jersey public libraries.  The bill also appropriates $625,000 and $335,650, respectively, to the New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority and the State Librarian for the administration of the “New Jersey Library Construction Bond Act.”
