STATEMENT TO

SENATE, No. 3012

with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JANUARY 11, 2021

      These floor amendments remove a provision that provides that certain documents issued by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (commission) that are set to expire on March 1, 2020 or May 31, 2020, or between March 1, 2020 and May 31, 2020 are not to expire until December 31, 2020.  The amendments instead provide that certain documents issued by the commission that are due to expire on June 1, 2020 or December 31, 2020, or between June 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020 and that have not been renewed by the date that the bill is enacted are extended to March 31, 2021 and are not to expire until that date.  The amendments provide that the bill is retroactive to June 1, 2020 and is to expire on April 1, 2021 instead of January 1, 2021.
