with Senate Floor Amendments

(Proposed by Senator STACK)

ADOPTED: FEBRUARY 19, 2021

      These Senate amendments would adjust the bill to:

· establish an income tax credit that would be available to certain qualifying landlords who have applied for an assistance payment, but has been denied;

· establish tenant protections in connection with a landlord’s acceptance of the income tax credit; and

· establish eviction protections for tenants of landlords who fail to apply in good faith for compensation offered by the bill.
