SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION No. 23

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee reports favorably Senate Joint Resolution No 23.

      This joint resolution designates October 11 as the "Day of the Girl" in New Jersey to raise public awareness about the "International Day of the Girl Child" and galvanize the support of the citizens of, and community-based organizations in, the State to help better girls' lives and provide them with equal opportunities to reach their full potential.

      This joint resolution was pre-filed for introduction in the 2020-2021 session pending technical review.  As reported, the resolution includes the changes required by technical review, which has been performed.
